Crispy Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken (pieces)
  • 1 cup flour (maida)
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika or red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or paste)
  • Oil (for frying)

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions:

  1. Marinate the chicken
    Mix chicken with buttermilk, salt, pepper, and garlic. Let it sit for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).
  2. Prepare coating
    In a bowl, mix flour, cornflour, paprika, and a little salt.
  3. Coat the chicken
    Dip chicken in egg, then coat well in flour mixture.
  4. Fry
    Heat oil and fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve hot
    Serve with fries and sauce ๐ŸŸ
