Crispy Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken (pieces)
- 1 cup flour (maida)
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika or red chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or paste)
- Oil (for frying)

- Marinate the chicken
Mix chicken with buttermilk, salt, pepper, and garlic. Let it sit for at least 1 hour (overnight is best). - Prepare coating
In a bowl, mix flour, cornflour, paprika, and a little salt. - Coat the chicken
Dip chicken in egg, then coat well in flour mixture. - Fry
Heat oil and fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy. - Serve hot
Serve with fries and sauce ๐
