One-Pan Balsamic Chicken & Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 bunch asparagus (trimmed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2️⃣ Prepare Chicken & Asparagus

  • Place chicken breasts on the pan.
  • Arrange asparagus around the chicken.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, and sprinkle garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss asparagus lightly to coat.

3️⃣ Bake

  • Roast in oven for 20–25 minutes, or until chicken reaches 75°C (165°F) and asparagus is tender.
  • Optional: Broil 2–3 minutes for extra caramelization.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Slice chicken and serve with roasted asparagus.
  • Drizzle extra balsamic glaze if desired.
